Iloilo streets burst in color in Chinese New Year grand parade
ILOILO CITY — The streets of downtown Iloilo bursts in vibrant color and rhythm on Friday afternoon with the Chinese New Year grand parade. With the theme “Harmony in Radiance,” the parade kicked off at 4 p.m. at Iznart Street and proceeded toward the Iloilo Freedom Grandstand, passing through the Calle Real heritage district. Performers in traditional attire, dragon and lion dance troupes, and cultural groups drew large crowds along the route.
