Donegal 1-19 Mayo 0-14 Donegal leapfrogged Mayo to go top of Division One with a nine-point win in Letterkenny on Sunday afternoon. Conor McCahill and Oisin Gallen scored two early points each to open a lead until Ryan O’Donoghue got Mayo off the mark with a two-pointer. Donegal extended their lead, taking a 0-11 to 0-05 advantage in at the interval, and, although home side goalkeeper Gavin Mulreany was called into action three times after the restart, it was Donegal who got the game’s only goal as Conor O’Donnell palmed down into the net from a fist across goal by Peadar Mogan. Donegal looked comfortable for their win as they are away to Armagh next time out while Mayo travel to Clones to face Monaghan.
