Sally Abé Is Opening a Restaurant in Hackney

The British bistro is coming this MarchSally Abé has led restaurants in London before, including Michelin-starred pub The Harwood Arms and The Pem, but now she’s opening her first place on her own. She’s back in the capital after an interlude in the Cotswolds as Head of Food at The Bull in Charlbury to open British bistro Teal by Sally Abé on Wilton Way.The site was last home to Sesta, which was open for just over year, and before that, tasting menu spot Pidgin, which lasted for nine years. As well as Sesta closing at the back end of last year, Fran’s, the cafe run by Wilton Way Deli & Wines’  Francesca D’Agostino, also shut up shop, so there’s been a lot of change on the street recently. We don’t have any more details on Teal yet but watch this space for more…Key InformationOpening date | March 2026Address | 52 Wilton Way, London E8 1BGFor more information | @tealbysallyabe
