How to Flip Out on Pancake Day
Looking for a flippin’ good time this Pancake Day? Or don’t trust yourself to get the batter onto a plate rather than stuck to your ceiling? Put your trust in one of London’s restaurants instead; the city’s brunch and pancake joints aren’t playing around when it comes to Shrove Tuesday this year and we’re here to give you the scoop. There are new specials, elaborate creations, exciting collabs, and loads to sink your teeth into (literally). These are the places to flip out on Pancake Day in London.Where The Pancakes AreIt’s a celebration of pancake season and rhubarb season at Where The Pancakes Are this year. Both locations will be flipping a rhubarb and custard pancake stack piled with meringue, pistachio, vanilla and forced rhubarb. The rest of WTPA’s menu will be available to order on the day too, with the restaurants extending the opening hours to 7am – 10pm to make sure everyone has time to get stuck into their stacks.Tues 17th February 2026Battersea & London BridgeThe Breakfast ClubPancakes are a big deal at The Breakfast Club so, of course, they’re marking the occasion by staying open late (the last booking slot will be 8pm) so you can get your fix day and night. TBC will also be bringing back its Pancake Challenge, where diners attempt to eat 12 pancakes in 12 minutes and if they manage it, it’s free.Tues 17th February 2026All The Breakfast Club locationsPolo BarPolo Bar is going all out with a series of specials for Pancake Day, including spicy Full English pancakes, chocolate lava pancakes and sticky toffee pudding pancakes.
