P278-M shabu hidden inside container's top rail seized at Manila port
MANILA, Philippines — A P278-million worth of methamphetamine hydrochloride or shabu, concealed in the top rail of container vans, was seized during a joint operation at the Manila International Container Port (MICP), the Bureau of Customs (BOC) said on Tuesday. According to Customs Commissioner Ariel Nepomuceno, the operation apprehended 131 packages of shabu declared as “marble” from Afghanistan.
