Ward joins Ireland squad again as Furlong trains again
Ulster back row Bryn Ward has joined the Ireland squad ahead of Saturday's Six Nations clash with Italy at Aviva Stadium, while Tadhg Furlong has continued his return to fitness in the bid to be available for the game.
The squad trained in Clongowes Wood College today with no fresh injury concerns.
Prop Furlong has resumed full training and a decision on whether he can feature against Italy will be made ahead of Thursday afternoon's team announcement.
Ward was part of the Irish group for the training camp in Portugal before the start of the tournament and featured for the 'A' selection against England last Friday night at Thomond Park.
Andy Farrell's side are looking to bounce back from defeat in Paris against an Italian side high on confidence after victory over Scotland.
