Tesla delivers Supercharger network to Chile
As part of the project, Tesla Superchargers will be installed at Copec filling stations at intervals of 200 kilometres. One such corridor will connect the cities of La Serena and Puerto Montt, which are approximately 1,500 kilometres apart. This initiative aims to provide “a seamless charging infrastructure for long-distance travel,” as stated.Each location will feature four charging points with a capacity of up to 250 kW, powered by renewable energy from Copec Emoac. While not explicitly confirmed, these are likely Superchargers from the white-label programme for third-party customers announced in September 2025. The Supercharger stations will adopt Copec’s design rather than Tesla’s usual branding, as they are to be integrated into Copec’s digital ecosystem. This differs from regular Tesla-operated Superchargers, which are embedded in Tesla’s digital ecosystem and must be accessed via the Tesla app for electric vehicles from other brands. Copec, however, plans to enable features such as using loyalty rewards through its own app to pay for charging sessions.
