Andrew sent photos featuring daughters Eugenie and Beatrice to paedophile Epstein: Innocent princesses are dragged into disgraced parents' scandal in latest file dump
Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor sent photographs of his daughters Eugenie and Beatrice to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein at Christmas as the princesses are dragged into the latest scandal to hit their disgraced parents. The King's brother, 65, included a series of snaps of the sisters in two festive emails sent in 2011 and 2012, files released by the US Department of Justice last night show. The pictures were sent when Eugenie was 21 and 22, and Beatrice was 23 and 24, after the disgraced financier's 2008 conviction for procuring a child for prostitution. The intimate family snaps were sent up to two years after the former prince previously claimed to have cut off all contact with the paedophile. The image of him proudly showing off his daughters' exploits as a doting father figure draws a stark contrast with the secret life he and ex-wife Sarah lived behind closed doors as they rubbed shoulders with the rich and powerful. The emails were released as part of a tranche of some three million documents relating to Epstein by the US government on Friday, and were just a fraction of the embarrassing content for the former Duke and Duchess of York. The latest revelations leave Beatrice and Eugenie in 'trying times', royal expert Jennie Bond said today, as the sisters struggle to navigate their father's increasingly humiliating position ostracised from the royal family.Other revelations from Friday's release of the Epstein files include: Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor sent photographs of his daughters Eugenie and Beatrice to paedophile Jeffrey Epstein at Christmas (Pictured: Andrew, Sarah Ferguson and their daughters at a 2006 birthday party for Princess Beatrice which was attended by Epstein, Harvey Weinstein and Ghislaine Maxwell) Andrew also shared a photograph of Princess Beatrice posing with one hand on her hip while climbing Mont Blanc Andrew sent paedophile Epstein this photograph of Princess Eugenie taking part in a charity bike ride in London in June 2012 A greeting card sent to Epstein by Andrew in 2012 featured photographs of his children Beatrice and EugenieThe first email, sent from Andrew's official 'HRH The Duke of York' email account on December 21, 2011, included a picture of Beatrice and Eugenie posing together in the snow.Princess Beatrice is pictured wearing a silver Christmas cracker hat and ear muffs, while Princess Eugenie is wrapped up in a fur hat and brown scarf. It is one of four images on the greetings card which also include a photograph of a snow-covered Royal Lodge and what appears to be Andrew in a canoe. The card states: 'Wishing you much joy and happiness and this time and for the year ahead' and is signed by Andrew. The second card, sent on December 20 2012, include pictures of the princesses on a charity bike ride and mountain climbing. In captioned photos it displays Andrew abseiling down The Shard, and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson, 66, walking across Great Slave Lake in Canada. Princess Beatrice is seen posing with one hand on her hip while climbing Mont Blanc in February 2012, while her sister is seen taking part in a Night Rider event in London, atop a bike and wearing high-vis and a helmet. Alongside 3,000 other participants, Princess Eugenie raised £9,000 for her charities of choice, the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital and the MCC Foundation to support the building of a cricket stadium in Rwanda. The images see the innocent sisters dragged into the latest twist in the scandal which has engulfed their parents for months, seeing them stripped of privileges, titles and finally evicted from their 30-room home, the Royal Lodge in Windsor.Royal expert and former BBC correspondent Jennie Bond told today how the latest release marks a 'trying time' for the family, and said Eugenie and Beatrice will likely be 'conflicted'. The images see the innocent sisters dragged into the latest twist in the scandal which has engulfed their parents for months (Pictured: Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie as seen in the 2011 Christmas card) Andrew had sent another Christmas card featuring his daughters in 2011, when they would have been aged 21 and 23 A photograph of Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor and Sarah Ferguson which was revealed in the latest release of the Epstein files on FridayRead More I know there is worse to come, says ANDREW LOWNIE. 'Homeless' Fergie will NEVER recover from this The pair have sought to protect their own reputation in the royal family by publicly distancing themselves from their parents in recent months, but are also said to be concerned about Andrew and Sarah's mental health.Speaking to Sky News, Ms Bond said: 'Their daughters, I think, are hugely conflicted.'Reports suggests that Eugenie, particularly, who is a champion of the anti-slavery campaign, she's finding things very, very difficult.'Beatrice has been seen out riding with her father recently, so very difficult for both daughters.'They must feel very conflicted in their loyalties. Trying times for the family.'Among the documents released on Friday was the revelation that Andrew invited Epstein to dinner at Buckingham Palace days after his house arrest ended. He promised 'lots of privacy' to the paedophile shortly after he was granted his freedom following a conviction for soliciting a minor. The previous month, Epstein had offered to set up a dinner for Andrew with a 'clever, beautiful and trustworthy' 26-year-old Russian woman, who was just three years older than his own daughter Beatrice at the time. The prince replied that he would be 'delighted to see her'. He cheerfully asked the convicted child sex predator, whose house arrest had finished just days earlier: 'Good to be free?'And while purporting to the world to be a family man, new emails with Ghislaine Maxwell show how Andrew bemoaned missing the socialite while spending time with his daughters, and even asked her 'permission' to do so.Emails between Andrew, 65, - who went by the moniker The Invisible Man - and Maxwell in 2002 saw him write: 'As the planning is getting more difficult over the bank holiday weekend here I am thinking now I might join Sarah and the kids in Sotogrande for a few days which would be very important and a good thing for the girls, rather than trek across the pond.'Please will you give me permission to do so and I am conscious of the "better offer" syndrome but in this case it wouldn't be that... I think!'In her reply dated August 24, Maxwell said 'Andrew sweet heart - I fully understand if you want to spend time w/Sarah and the kids. I will not be remotely offended - sad not to spend time w/you and sad not to see you but at this point w/precious holidays and few days off I agree that this idea of coming to the Island looks less appealing'. Disturbing new images released as part of last night's Epstein files appear to show Andrew Mountbatten Windsor crouching on all fours over a female lying on the floor In the three images, a man who appears to be the former Prince, can be seen crouching over the person who is sprawled face up with their arms spread out It is unclear where the images where taken and no further context is givenIn a suggestive follow-up sent on August 25, Maxwell said: 'No problem, (redacted), who is now coming and 5 other stunning red heads will all just have to play with ourselves.'She concluded the message: 'I shall miss you. I love you lots. Gx.'In a reply on August 27, Andrew said: 'I am very sad at not coming to join you but I am so glad to be able to see more of my kids that the compensation is justified.'But whatever I love you and am longing to see you when either you or I are in the same part of the world.'Elsewhere in the files, a 25-year-old masseuse said to have worked for Epstein in 1999 said she 'didn't feel good' about being asked to massage Andrew - because she thought she was being asked 'to do more'. The unnamed woman submitted a statement to a private investigations team in 2021 that was sent to Maxwell's defence team, the files show. She said: 'I was only involved with Jeffrey for a year.'I never saw him like a creepy guy. There were never any young girls. I saw Prince Andrew and Donald Trump. [Epstein] wanted me to give Prince Andrew a massage, but I didn't feel good about that. I wonder if he was offering me to him to do more.'Andrew, who has always denied wrongdoing, also invited Epstein, disgraced director Harvey Weinstein and Ghislaine Maxwell to his daughter Princess Beatrice's 18th birthday party in 2006. Publicly, Eugenie, 35, and Beatrice, 37, have drastically limited their contact with their parents since troves of files related to Epstein began being released at the end of 2025.One source previously told The Mail on Sunday that Eugenie had cut off all contact with Andrew, likening it to the public falling out between Victoria and David Beckham and their son Brooklyn. But this was disputed by others in the know, who said the princess - who established The Anti-Slavery Collective to help counter sex trafficking - has no plans to cut off her father completely. It is no secret however that she is taking a dim view of Andrew's refusal to apologise to Epstein's victims, while her sister Beatrice is said to so far be taking a slightly more nuanced approach. She invited Andrew to the christening of her 11-month-old daughter Athena in London last month, which Eugenie also attended, but it is not known if father and daughter spoke to one another at the event. The former prince was spotted laughing on his ride around the Windsor estate on Saturday morning, just hours after new photographs of him were released In one email released on Friday, Epstein had offered to set up a dinner for Andrew with a 'clever, beautiful and trustworthy' 26-year-old Russian woman Other emails between Andrew and Ghislaine Maxwell reveal he told her 'I love you and am longing to see you' Andrew had invited Epstein to Buckingham Palace days after the end of his house arrest for soliciting sex from a minor Andrew and his ex-wife Sarah Ferguson are now being evicted from the Royal Lodge in Windsor (Pictured together in 2025)Beatrice also visited her father in Windsor and even accompanied him on a horse ride with her four-year-old daughter Sienna.Photographs show a downcast-looking Andrew riding ahead, while Beatrice walked alongside Sienna and a groom. They spent more than 45 minutes wandering the grounds, and it has been reported that Beatrice also visited her father at his soon-to-be former home, Royal Lodge. While the King stripped Andrew and Fergie of their titles last October over their links to Epstein, he made a point of keeping their daughters in the royal fold and allowing them to retain the titles. He also invited them to spend the traditional royal Christmas at Sandringham, an event from which Andrew was conspicuously absent. The couple's daughters are said to be concerned about both their parents' mental health, with Princess Anne and Prince Edward also remaining in touch with Andrew over similar concerns.Andrew and Sarah have been all but abandoned by senior royals including the King and Queen and Prince William. It comes as photos and emails related to disgraced paedophile Epstein continue to emerge following the release of more than three million documents published by the US Department of Justice on Friday. In three photographs released last night, a man believed to be Andrew can be seen leaning over the woman who is sprawled face up with their arms spread out.He is staring directly at the camera in one picture, while in another he has placed his left hand on the female's stomach. There are also new emails relating to Sarah, with several emails referring to her well-chronicled debts. She took money from Epstein to help pay them off. One email sent in August 2009 shows her thanking him for being 'the brother I have always wished for'.In another email, Ms Ferguson calls Epstein 'my dear spectacular and special friend' and 'a legend'.The documents also reveal new intimate details of Andrew's relationship with Epstein's associate and girlfriend Ghislaine Maxwell, who is currently serving a 20-year jail term in the States for sex trafficking.Affectionate exchanges in which they refer to each other by names including 'darling' and 'sweet pea', while stating they 'long for' one another are reigniting claims from friends and even a former royal protection officer that they were in fact lovers. The latest files also reveal communication between Epstein and the likes of Richard Branson, Elon Musk and Bill Clinton, while Melania Trump's emails with Ghislaine Maxwell have been published too.
