Predator Megan takes action in early Coronation Street ITVX release as fan-favourite catches her out 

Megan Walsh had to act fast (Picture: ITV) This article contains spoilers for the episode of Coronation Street that airs on Monday January 26, which has not yet aired on TV but is available to watch now on YouTube and ITVX.  Predator Megan Walsh (Beth Nixon) will do anything to keep her abuse of schoolboy Will Driscoll (Lucas Hodgson-Wale) a secret on Coronation Street – as Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) found out in this episode.  Will has been groomed over a long period by Megan, who was his sports coach at his previous school in Hull and has since moved to Weatherfield where she continues to coach him while also working as a teacher at Weatherfield High.   While Will believes that he’s in a relationship with Megan – and has recently discovered she’s pregnant with his baby – he’s unaware of how inappropriate the situation is, and that he’s been exploited and used by Megan in a very calculating way.  Megan is pregnant with Will’s baby (Picture: ITV) Megan is officially in a relationship with Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) but is using this as cover for her activities with Will.  The recent appearance of Lee, another boy from Hull, revealed that Will isn’t the first boy that Megan has abused. Lee told Will that he’d had a sexual relationship with Megan a year ago and now realises she was using him. Rather than making Will realise the truth of his own situation, Will doubled down on defending Megan and warned Lee that accusations like that could land Megan in prison.   This encounter was overheard by Sam Blakeman, and in today’s episode Sam’s fears about Will and Megan were apparently confirmed when he saw Leanne showing Megan a tracksuit top she’d found in the flat and Megan said it was Daniel’s.  Sam paid Will a visit and spotted the same jacket and realised Megan had been lying about it being Daniel’s. Concerned, Sam asked Will if he and Miss Walsh were having a sexual relationship. He said he was trying to be a friend and wanted to help. He reminded Will that what Megan was doing was illegal and he was prepared to tell another teacher that Megan was preying on Will.  Horrified, Will made excuses and told Sam not to talk to anyone about Megan.  Lee told Will that he slept with Megan (Picture: ITV) Will told Megan what Sam had said and she nervously said they’d covered their tracks ‘Unless they check the CCTV at various hotels in Bury and Rochdale.’ She said she’d talk to Sam.  Later, Sam was in Speed Daal and Leanne Battersby (Jane Danson) could tell that something was worrying him. She gave him her usual story, that some boys have crushes on her.
