(Pam Davies/CBC)Proceedings in the trial for an Ontario couple accused of killing a 12-year-old boy and torturing his younger brother in their Burlington home are set to wrap up today.Becky Hamber, 46, is testifying for a 6th and final day in Milton. Hamber and her wife, Brandy Cooney, 44, have pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder and other charges.Yesterday, court heard that Hamber would have L.L. stand for long periods of time as a consequence for saying he was hungry.In a video shown at the trial, Hamber said zip-tying younger boy J.L.’s feet was a "dumb dumb" parenting moment but he was a "willing" participant.The Crown also alleged that Hamber-Cooney text exchanges referred to the couple physically assaulting the boys, which Hamber denied.The boys’ identities are protected under a publication ban.
