Conor McGregor's floral cost could fund FOUR bog-standard Irish weddings
HOLY PEONY! Multi-millionaire Conor McGregor’s wedding was never going to be a low-key affair.
But even for the super-wealthy, flamboyant sports stars, his floral coats could be considered by any super-rich standards as exorbitant.
In fact, Extra.ie can reveal that the figure dropped on white peonies alone would fund the entire costs of four average Irish weddings. And most likely also cover the honeymoon costs to boot.

Crumlin-born MMA fighter Conor married childhood sweetheart Dee Devlin in an ostentatious ceremony in Vatican City before Christmas.
And with gazillions in the bank, the love-struck McGregor spared precisely zero expense in pulling out all the stops for his very special nuptials.
From a couture designer dress made from the finest Italian spun silk and lace to Mr and Mrs white classic, chauffeur driven Rolls Royce weddings cars, a mini-Lamborghini to ferry son Connor Jr down the aisle, were just some of the more extravagant features of the McGregor wedding fiesta.

But when it came to flowers, Conor was certainly living La Dolce Vita, with entire pews of the Holy Church of the Vatican looked to be reserved to accommodate white peonies.
And it wasn’t just the seats, the entirety of the church in Vatican City was festooned with bunches or singular stem peonies.
Now Extra.ie can reveal that at a conservative estimate, the peony cost alone would have run to a crisp €150,000.
One florist in Italy told Extra.ie that just one single peony is currently priced in Italian florists at €6, and based on the images they estimated with the sheer volume of flowers, the cost would run to the hundreds of thousands.
And that’s just for the pretty petals. McGregor would also have to factor in the price of the brush, on top of the floral arranger’s fee, and as peonies are currently out of season, it is likely that McGregor’s wedding flowers were specially shipped in from Holland, where peonies are nurtured all year round.
So all things totted up, groom McGregor likely forked out anywhere between €120,00 to €150,000 on his wedding flowers. Or in laypeople’s terms, the price of four average weddings, which currently runs to about €38,000.
