Motorist warned about NCT scam

Motorists are being warned of a new scam targeting people booking their NCT. The National Car Testing Service website has been cloned, with those behind it requesting between €60 and €600 for appointments for fake vehicle checks. According to the Irish Times, a number of people were scammed last weekend after being led to the fake site through popular search engines.
