Second person dies following Co Antrim crash

The Police Service of Northern Ireland (PSNI) has said a man aged in his 30s has died following a two-car collision in Co Antrim. The collision occurred near Nutts Corner in Crumlin at 2pm on Sunday, when a blue Ford Fiesta and a silver Skoda Superb collided on the Moira Road. "The man, a passenger in the car, was critically injured and has sadly died from his injuries," the PSNI said in a statement. A woman travelling in the same car, who was pregnant, also died in hospital from her injuries. A number of other people sustained minor injuries in the collision. Detective Inspector Stewart from the PSNI's Collision Investigation Unit said: "We are investigating what happened and require the public's assistance with our enquiries. "Anyone who witnessed the collision, or who may have any dash-cam footage of the road at the time which could assist with our investigation, please contact us in the Collision Investigation Unit on 101, quoting reference number 735 11/01/26."
