DAA agrees to stall Kenny Jacobs probe ahead of a High Court hearing
The Dublin Airport Authority (DAA) has given a commitment to stall an investigation into complaints made against its suspended chief executive Kenny Jacob pending a High Court challenge to the probe by the airport executive. Jacobs is seeking an urgent hearing to injunct the disciplinary process and his suspension over allegations made against him of “sexist, misogynistic, racist, homophobic and ageist behaviour” to or about employees, which he claims are baseless. On Monday, Padraic Lyons, senior counsel acting for Jacobs, sought a two-day hearing for the case in early February, citing a “very pressing and particular urgency to the matter”.…
