Dad at centre of Oldham murder investigation named and pictured as family pay tribute

Police attended a property on Plumpton Close in Royton at around 7:50pm on Saturday evening (December 6) following reports of an 'altercation.'Officers and paramedics treated a 55-year-old man, but he died at the scene. He has now been named as Paul Anderson.In a statement paying tribute to him, Mr Anderson's family said: "Rest in peace Paul, a precious dad, son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend who was so loved. A loveable rogue who wouldn’t hurt a soul, sadly taken from us in the cruellest way.“He was a gentleman with a big heart and an incredible sense of humour.
