Murder arrest after man, 55, found dead in a house in Royton
A 59-year-old has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man was found dead in a house in Oldham.Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the 55-year-old man was pronounced dead at the scene in Plumpton Close, Royton, just before 20:00 GMT on Saturday.GMP said its officers have been called out to reports of an altercation.Det Insp Louise Kelly said: "Any incident of this nature is naturally shocking and I fully appreciate that the community will be worried and shocked by this news."
