Young woman killed in Dundalk crash to be laid to rest in Scotland
The fifth person who was killed in a horrific crash in Dundalk is set to be laid to rest in her native Scotland next week.
Chloe Hipson, 21, was one of five young people who lost their lives in the crash between two cars on the Ardee Road in Dundalk, on November 15. Ms Hipson and four of her friends, who were travelling in the same car, were killed.
Following the funerals of the four others who were killed in the crash last week, Chloe, who’s originally from Scotland, is set to be laid to rest in Lanarkshire on Tuesday (December 2) following a celebration of her life in Dundalk on November 19.

Chloe’s death notice reads that she’s the ‘beloved daughter of Ryan and Toni, sister of Ryan and Tommy, and aunt of Brodé. She will be so missed by her heartbroken parents, brothers, Brodé, grandparents, extended family and many friends.’
A gathering took place for Chloe’s family and friends on Wednesday, November 19 at the Eternity Room of Quinn’s Funeral Home in Dundalk, before her body was repatriated to Scotland.
She will be remembered in a service at Daldowie Crematorium, Glasgow on Tuesday, December 2 at 11.45am.

The four others who were killed in the crash: Chloe Mcgee, Alan McCluskey, Dylan Commins, and Shay Duffy, were laid to rest in ceremonies on November 21 and 22.
Gardaí in Dundalk are continuing their appeal for anyone with any information to contact their investigation team.
They are asking for anyone who was on the L3168 between 8.30pm and 9.15pm on Saturday, November 15, and anyone who may have camera footage or images from the L3168, Gibstown area between 8.30pm and 9.15pm on Saturday November 15 to give it to Dundalk Garda station.
