Two teenage boys seriously injured after car mounted footpath in Dublin

Two teenage boys have been seriously injured after they were struck by a car in Co Dublin. The incident occurred in Foxrock, Dublin 18 at approximately 7.30pm on Friday (November 28), with the car mounting the footpath and colliding with a lamppost and bin, injuring the two boys. The boys, aged in their mid-teens, have been conveyed to hospital, where one remains in CHI Crumlin and is receiving treatment for serious but non-life threatening injuries. Gardaí are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward. Road users who were travelling on the N11 at Foxrock around the time of the incident and who have footage, including dash-cam, of the incident are being asked to make the footage available to them.
