Tara Reid has claimed she was drugged and left unconscious in a terrifying incident in the early hours of Sunday morning. Alarming video obtained by TMZ shows the American Pie star, 50, being placed into a wheelchair before being taken away on a stretcher to a nearby hospital.She is seen speaking incoherently to people assisting her and at one point seemingly slips off the wheelchair as she was maneuvered by security through a hotel lobby. Reid is helped back into the chair before paramedics take her on a stretcher. Speaking with the publication, Reid claimed the incident happened at a hotel bar outside of Chicago - although the exact location is not currently known.The Daily Mail has contacted representatives for Reid for comment and has yet to hear back. Reid then says she took the napkin off the cup and proceeded to consume the beverage. But then, the outlet writes, 'the next thing she remembers, she was in the hospital.' Reid has struggled with substance abuse in the past however she insisted to TMZ she only had one drink on Sunday night. The person who recorded the video told TMZ that prior to the arrival of paramedics, Reid was screaming, 'You don't know who I am. I am famous. I'm an actress.'The website notes that at the time of publication, Reid had not filed a police report. Speaking with the publication, Reid claimed the incident happened at a hotel bar outside of Chicago - although the exact location is not currently known Reid, pictured second R, is memorably known for her role in the high school film American PieSpeaking with TMZ Live on Monday, Reid detailed the alleged incident and revealed she had not yet filed a police report nor was fully aware of what measures were done at the hospital to confirm she had been drugged. 'So I got to the hotel, I checked in, and then I went downstairs to have a drink and have a cigarette, and I got my drink and I left it at the bar, and I went outside, smoked a cigarette, and there was a bunch of YouTubers there in the lobby, like everywhere. And they're videotaping stuff and, you know, everything. It was just weird,' she said. 'And I went back to the bar, and my drink was covered up with a napkin. And I thought, "that was weird," cause I never put that over my drink. And then I drank my drink and without even finishing my drink, I just passed out. And before I knew it, I was in the hospital, eight hours later.'When asked if any tests were done to determine the drugs or if a blood alcohol test was conducted, she said, 'No, they just said that, "You were drugged." That's what they said. They said, "you got drugged last night at the bar."' When asked if anything was tested to determine what drug it was, she said, 'No, I didn't ask. It was all kind of vague. It was all like very blurry, do you know what I mean?... I can't even explain it because I don't even know what happened.''The odd thing, to me is, that if you're going to the hospital in an unconscious state, it would seem they'd want to know what drug it was to know how to deal with it and treat you,' Harvey Levin said.'I don't know,' Reid said. 'Cause I was unconscious, so I don't know what they did, you know what I mean?'I mean, I had someone, a lady sitting next to the room with me, you know, watching over me. At one point, she was Mexican, I mean one point I thought I was in Mexico, 'cause she wasn't speaking English. And I was like, "what is going...", I was so confused what was happening. And then my agent came and picked me up and then we went to a signing, we did it and left. I came back home. I mean, I only had a drink of wine. I don't drink hard liquor or anything like that at all. I just had a glass of wine and a cigarette and that was it... didn't expect that to happen at all!'In 2008 Reid sought help for substance abuse at Promise's rehab in Malibu.'Rehab saved my life,' she told In Touch in 2009. 'Before I used to think about tomorrow and I hated it.
