A broader wind warning for Galway, Leitrim, Mayo and Sligo will run from 1pm to 10pm, bringing strong westerly gusts and rough conditions along Atlantic coasts. Further east, Wicklow will come under a separate wind alert between 3pm and 8pm, while Clare will see its own warning from 7pm to 10pm as the system tracks southwards. Under clear spells, it’ll turn chilly with lowest temperatures of 3 to 6 degrees, as northwest winds decreasing to moderate in strength. ‘Monday: Most places will be dry and bright with sunny spells. A few showers will continue around western and northern coastal areas. Highest temperatures of 6 to 10 degrees, coolest in eastern areas, in moderate north to northwest winds. ‘Cold on Monday night with some frost and fog patches forming as winds ease. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees.’
