Suspect description released after teenage girl sexually assaulted at bus stop
A teenage girl was allegedly sexually assaulted in south Belfast on Saturday night while waiting for a bus.
The Police Service in Northern Ireland (PSNI) have issued an urgent appeal to the public after a description of the suspect was released.

It said that a teenage girl had been approached by an unknown male while waiting for the bus in the Adelaide Street area of the city with her friends.
The man groped the girl and made sexual comments towards her, according to PSNI Sergeant Ashe.
A description of the suspect states that he is approximately in his mid 40’s, with a heavy build, is bald and has a black beard.

The man was wearing a beige jacket with pockets and blue jeans.
Police are appealing for anyone who may have witnessed or has information in relation to the incident to come forward.
A full investigation into the alleged sexual assault is underway.
Sergeant Ashe stated: ‘We would appeal to anyone who was in the Adelaide Street area of Belfast between 8.30pm and 9.45pm on Saturday and saw anything suspicious, or who might have information which could assist with our investigation, to contact us on the 101 number, quoting reference 785 of 10/11/25.
‘We would also be keen to speak with anyone who might have CCTV, dash-cam or other footage which could help with our ongoing enquiries.
