Gardaí in Rosslare Harbour on Friday morning.Residents of a Rosslare Harbour housing estate awoke to a strong garda presence on Friday morning, as they responded to an apparent stabbing incident.A woman aged in her 50s was rushed to Wexford General Hospital with what gardaí describe as “serious” injuries shortly after 7am.There was a strong garda response while paramedics from the National Ambulance Service also rushed to the scene at Brendan’s Estate, while residents made their way to work.A man aged in his 20s was arrested at the scene and was taken to Wexford Garda Station for questioning.Investigations are ongoing.
