Alex Murdaugh was back in court for a hearing over evidence his attorneys are requesting ahead of his April 2027 retrial for the murders of his wife, Maggie, and their son, Paul. Maggie and Paul were shot to death at the family's Moselle hunting estate in June 2021. Murdaugh's defense team argued for more DNA testing, information about ballistics and more. Judge Debra McCaslin didn't hold back and reprimanded Murdaugh lawyer Dick Harpootlian for a prior statement he made about Murdaugh passing a polygraph. The statement wasn't true. Law&Crime's Angenette Levy goes through the hearing in this episode of Crime Fix — a daily show covering the biggest stories in crime.
