We have not properly communicated what we do. I have no interest in causing an environmental disaster on my legacy. That’s never going to happen. We will bring plans out for a one gig facility and show what the heat profile looks like, the light, the noise, the water, all of it. When we build this, you can come and kick the tires and extrapolate from this. We need to become more ingrained with the community and I think that is going to be incorporated into all projects. If I’ve said anything that offends you or done anything that you think has been unfair, I apologize. But I also would say I want you to lend an open ear to what I’m going to show you in the months ahead.
Mamdani is a genius at social media. Every outrageous proposal generates headlines, millions of views, and new eyeballs without him having to pay for the attention. Whatever you think of his politics, I have to give credit where it’s due. I even tried to hire his social media director after meeting her at the Marty Supreme premiere. There’s a lesson here for every politician heading into the midterms, get someone who understands how to capture attention and dominate the conversation.

That is the challenge heading into the midterms. If the administration wants more credit for the economy, it has to translate strong earnings and market performance into something everyday Americans can actually feel.
I’m investing millions in rare sports cards because I see them as a legitimate alternative asset class. When you look at the historical performance of truly unique pieces, some have appreciated far beyond the S&P 500, gold, and crypto. My strategy is simple, build a portfolio of 10 to 20 exceptional pieces, hold them long term, and let them appreciate. For me, allocating 3 to 5% of a portfolio to an asset class like this makes a lot of sense.
