This is how simple faith actually is...
Russell described his own experience of Christ as something that hit him entirely in his gut, not his mind, no new information, just a sudden certainty that he's real. His guest broke down how little a person actually needs to know to become a Christian, pointing to the gospel from First Corinthians 15, that Christ died for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day, arguing that's the whole requirement, which is exactly why Jesus said to come with the faith of a child. He explained that faith is always defined by its object, Jesus himself, and while faith can grow tremendously from there, even faith you don't fully feel still counts, as long as it's genuinely centered on him. Sometimes the simplest version of belief was the right one all along.
