Completed in 2014, the secluded Napa Valley-inspired compound rests on a nearly four-acre parcel featuring sweeping mountain views that include the iconic Chef’s Peak. A combined total of seven bedrooms and nine bathrooms in roughly 8,100 square feet are spread across the main home and a pair of guesthouses. Other perks include a detached gym and a creative studio, plus Tesla solar power and an integrated Savant system controlling all the lighting, climate, audio, and shades.
Automated steel gates flanked by river rock pillars secure a long, tree-lined driveway that leads to a three-car garage and a motor court with room for up to 15 vehicles. A graveled courtyard, centered on a sculpture-adorned reflecting pool, abuts towering glass and steel-framed double doors. These pivot into the 4,324-square-foot, single-level primary residence, opening directly into an entry foyer featuring tiled French limestone floors beneath an exposed wood-beamed ceiling.
The backyard is anchored by a 70-foot pool and an entertaining pavilion.

The Sutherlands have already set sail on their new yacht, which took two years to build, per Mansion Global. So far, they have cruised to the Bahamas and Virginia and will be spending the summer in Newport, Rhode Island. Next year, they plan to visit the Mediterranean Sea, Croatia, and Turkey.
“We’ve been boating all of our lives,” said Sutherland. “I’m semiretired, and we decided while we’re both in the adventurous, can-do club, we might as well get going and go do it. Believe me, after owning the property and developing it for 20 years, it was not an easy decision.”
