Galaxsys has expanded its online casino portfolio with Rise of Frogs: Book’s Legacy, a new Egyptian-themed slot built around expanding symbols, free spins and random multipliers.
Released on July 16, 2026, Rise of Frogs: Book’s Legacy is played across a five-reel, three-row grid with 10 fixed paylines. The game has medium volatility, a return-to-player rate of 95.99% and a maximum potential payout of 10,000 times the player’s stake.
Despite the title’s amphibian theme, the setting draws heavily upon ancient Egyptian imagery. Its high-value symbols include frog-themed versions of pharaohs, Cleopatra and the Sphinx, with Galaxsys describing the game as a mythical world in which legendary frogs protect ancient treasures.
The central feature is the Gold Framed Symbol mechanic. Any regular high-value or low-value symbol can appear surrounded by a gold frame. When that symbol forms part of a winning combination, it expands vertically to cover the entire reel.
Expanded reels may also receive random multipliers, increasing the value of the resulting win. When multipliers appear across multiple expanded reels, their values are combined rather than applied separately.
The game’s Scatter symbol also acts as a Wild and can substitute for other symbols when forming winning combinations. Landing three or more Scatters anywhere on the reels triggers the main bonus game and awards eight free spins.
At the start of the bonus, one non-Scatter symbol is randomly selected as an active Gold Framed Symbol. That symbol can then appear in its expanding form throughout the feature.
Players who land another three or more Scatters during the bonus receive four additional free spins. A second symbol is also selected to become an active Gold Framed Symbol, while previously activated symbols remain in play. This allows the number of potentially expanding symbols to increase as the bonus continues.
Rise of Frogs: Book’s Legacy also includes a Super Bonus Round available through the game’s buy bonus feature. During this version of the bonus, every expanded reel is guaranteed to contain at least one multiplier, offering greater potential payouts than the standard free spins round.
