All the spots in the round of 16 have now been filled at the FIFA World Cup 2026.
Colombia were the final team to taste victory in the round of 32 and progress after their win on Saturday morning (from a UK time zone perspective).
Their success came at a cost, with Ghana heading home after suffering knock-out heartbreak.

This summer's tournament is the first since the expansion to 48 teams and, subsequently, has an extra round of knock-out games.
32 teams – the 12 group winners, 12 group runners-up, and eight best third-placed teams – made it out of the group at this year's tournament, the most ever at a World Cup.
That number will be cut in half before start of the round of 16, which begins on Saturday.
Radio Times brings you the full round-up of teams left in World Cup 2026.
