Oriental Mindoro towns suspend afternoon classes due to flooding
CALAPAN CITY, Oriental Mindoro — Five municipalities in Oriental Mindoro suspended afternoon classes on Tuesday as persistent heavy rains triggered flooding and rendered several roads impassable. The Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Office (PDRRMO) said the suspension covers both public and private schools in Socorro from preschool to senior high school, Pinamalayan and Gloria from pre-elementary to senior high school, and all levels in Pola and Bansud.
