Who was Midas? Tommy Fury reveals Greek name for newborn son
The wait is over as Tommy Fury this weekend revealed the name of his second child with partner Molly-Mae Hague.
The professional boxer and his entrepreneur other half welcomed their baby boy earlier in the month, but refrained from sharing his name.
The couple, who met on Love Island, are also parents to three-year-old Bambi.

Saturday night saw Tommy take on former World’s Strongest Man Eddie Hall in a four-round heavyweight boxing match in Manchester’s AO Arena.
Molly-Mae had previously teased they could reveal their newborn’s name on Tommy’s boxing shorts, with eagle-eyed fans glued to the proceedings on Saturday.
The boxer walked out in black and gold boxing attire, with Midas on the back of his jacket in Gold lettering.

The front of his top was adorned in a large gold crown.
Tommy’s shorts also paid tribute to Midas, as well as his eldest daughter Bambi, with both kids names on the band of the shorts.
Speaking after his victory, Tommy paid tribute to his hometown of Manchester, before dedicating the boxing match to his kids.
‘This was for my new baby boy son, Midas,’ Tommy said, turning to show the back of his top, which had the baby’s name in red lettering.
‘He’s here, and he’s another Fury, and he’s another boy. This, tonight, this win was for my baby boy, my baby girl, Bambi and Midas. Welcome to the world.’
Molly-Mae had previously confirmed the name they had chosen for their new arrival was unique.
One YouTube video from her in recent months confirmed she had only known of one other person with the name.
The name Midas is of Greek origin, and primarily translates to ‘wealthy’ or ‘famous for the golden touch.’
The legend goes that King Midas of Phrygia was granted one wish from the god Dionysus, with the wish that everything he touches turn to gold.
