Topshop resumes shipments to Ireland
Topshop confirmed the return of Irish shipments via a social media post on Instagram today (8 June), which said: “Ireland, we are back. Topshop now ships to Ireland on eu.topshop.com.”
To mark the return of shipments to the region, Topshop is offering a 20% discount for first-time customers as well as free delivery on orders of more than €40 ($34.60).
The news comes after Topshop launched its dedicated European website across 23 countries in January, which did not initially include Ireland.
Amid Topshop’s relaunch last year, which included the return of its website and bricks and mortar presence via partnerships with Liberty and John Lewis, Topshop returned to Ireland via stockists including department stores McElhinneys and Shaws.
Alongside the launch, Topshop told Drapers it has introduced a digital version of its “last chance” product rail in all markets.
Topshop and Topman managing director Michelle Wilson said: “Our Irish customers have a strong connection to Topshop, and we’re excited to bring them a dedicated brand destination with full access to our collections.
“The introduction of our ‘Last Chance’ edit also brings back a much-loved part of the Topshop experience reimagined for how our customers shop today.”
Drapers also revealed last week (22 May) that Topshop plans to open a London store within the next 12 months, and is targeting Oxford Street.
Property sources told Drapers that the Oxford Street requirement has been in place for some time, but the right site has not yet come available.
It is understood that Topshop will open in London before any other UK locations, the sources added.
Speaking on stage at Drapers Social Summit on 20 May, Topshop global marketing director Moses Rashid hailed the British fashion brand’s social media relaunch strategy which is built around three core pillars: product, cultural community and elevation.
