SHEIN creates 30 jobs in Dublin logistics expansion

Online fashion retailer SHEIN is opening a new e-commerce logistics facility in South County Dublin, as it expands its Irish operations with customer demand continuing to grow across Ireland and Europe. SHEIN's new 16,000 square feet facility in Greenogue Business Park in Rathcoole will support up to 30 jobs at full capacity, including new warehouse and office roles. The facility was previously managed by a third-party logistics provider and has now transitioned to SHEIN's direct management, as the company scales its regional fulfilment network. SHEIN established its EMEA headquarters in Dublin in May 2023 and it said the opening of the new logistics facility further strengthens its European expansion strategy. "We are proud to expand our operations in Ireland with the opening of this new logistics facility in Dublin," SHEIN's Corporate Communications Director Robin Kiely said. "Ireland plays an important role in our wider European growth strategy and this investment strengthens our ability to provide improved, more efficient services for customers across the country," Mr Kiely said. "The new facility also creates additional warehouse and office roles locally, while supporting our long-term commitment to investing in infrastructure, technology and operational capability across Ireland and Europe," he added. SHEIN continues to expand its logistics footprint across Europe and opened its primary European distribution hub in Wroclaw in Poland last winter, increasing the total number of jobs created there to 5,000. It also opened a logistics warehouse in the UK Midlands last month, creating 450 new jobs and bringing its total UK logistics workforce to 1,000 employees.
