Applications open for Balbriggan cost rental homes from €1,575 for a three-bed house
Applications are now open for a number of cost rental properties at Folkstown Park, Balbriggan, Co Dublin.The 40 homes are brand new, and located a five minute drive from the seaside town of Balbriggan. The homes are expected to become available from late August 2026.These homes are the first phase of the development, with more homes anticipated in late 2026. There are a range of one to three bedroom homes available.There are 8 one-bed maisonettes that each have a unit size of 62 square meters. These are available at a cost rental price of €1,150.There are 28 two-bed mid-terrace houses measuring 74 square meters with a cost rental price of €1,400.There are two three-bed mid-terrace houses with a unit size of 130 square meters and a cost rental price of €1,575. Finally, there are two three-bed end-terrace houses that also measure 130 square meters and cost €1,695 in rent at the cst rental price.Folkstown Park is just a short drive from both Dublin and Drogheda, while the M50, M1 and N2 road links are minutes away. For commuters, regular bus and trains serve Dublin City Centre.The application closing date will be announced 7 days prior to applications closing.Cost Rental guarantees rent prices at least 25% below local market rates. It is aimed at people who have a net household income of €66,000 or below. Eligible applicants can apply here via Tuath housing.Eligibility Criteria:Your net household income is below €66,000. Applicants will have to prove how they have calculated their net household income.You do not own a property in Ireland or elsewhere.Applicants must be permanent residents and tax domicile in IrelandYou are not in receipt of any social housing supports (including Rent Supplement or HAP)Your household size matches the size of the property advertised (All members of the household must be living in Ireland at time of applying.You can afford to pay the cost rent for the home.
