This summer, millions of soccer fans are set to travel across the US, Canada and Mexico. As Uber expands into travel, we’re launching a range of offerings designed to make tournament travel more seamless and affordable: from planning ahead to getting home after the final whistle.Our line-up draws on years of experience helping cities and venues manage major events. Here’s what’s new: Stadium shuttlesWe’re launching Uber Shuttle services at four US match venues, providing fans with an affordable and convenient way to get home at full time. Services will operate at host stadiums immediately after games in New York/New Jersey, Boston, Miami & Dallas.Riders will see upfront pricing in the Uber app, and won’t have to pay surge pricing. Fares will be $45 in Miami, Dallas and Boston, and $49 in New York/New Jersey. Tap the shuttle icon in the Uber app to book your seat in advance, or on matchday.Introducing Uber MaxGoing to the game with your whole crew? With Uber Max you’ll be able to reserve a 14-seat van to take you directly to and from the game. Book ahead using the Hourly tile on the Uber homescreen. Then, just select the number of hours that you’ll need the vehicle (up to eight) and where you’re going. Available in New York, Miami, San Francisco and Los Angeles.Travel PassLast year alone, more than 1.5 billion Uber trips took place outside a rider’s home city globally, which is why we’re introducing Travel Pass, a new way for travellers to lock in savings across their trip.For just $4.99, travelers in the US can unlock up to $85 in total savings across Uber and Uber Eats. Travel Passes are also available in Mexico for $1.99 and Canada for $3.99. Each pass is valid for 14 days.Airport wayfindingWith GPS navigation and on-screen journey lines, our new turn-by-turn in-app directions guide users directly from their gate to the specific Uber pickup zone. We’re launching in the Uber app for customers traveling through US, Canada and Mexico host city airports.Smart stadium pick-ups We’re launching new in-app guidance that helps you find less crowded pickup areas outside the venues, helping reduce curbside congestion, and your wait time.In-app directions, including a visual map, with curated walking lines will provide clear instructions so you can find the most efficient pickup spot at venues in Atlanta, San Francisco, Seattle, Vancouver, Toronto, & Los Angeles.Earn Uber Cash on Dine Out bookingsLast year, we launched Dine Out on Uber Eats with reservations powered by OpenTable. Now, we’re making it even more rewarding for fans in host cities to experience the local cuisine.Earn 30% Uber Cash (up to $35), during the tournament, when you book and dine at a restaurant through Dine Out in all US host cities.Customize your Uber rideFans can show support in the Uber app by selecting their national team and customizing the Uber car icon in-app with the country’s flag. Available in the US, Canada and major cities globally.
