Gardaí discover male Bullfinch after operation targeting illegal trapping of wild birds
Gardaí in Limerick have carried out an operation targeting the illegal trapping of wild birds.
Officers searched a premises in the St. Mary's Park area of Limerick city on Wednesday.
That led to the discovery of a male Bullfinch, which was surrendered to the National Parks and Wildlife Service.
No arrests have been made.
