Katie Price forced to end podcast early after ‘getting call from police’

In a dramatic development in the ongoing Lee Andrews missing case, Katie Price had to cut her podcast short after a phone call from the police.
The reality star, 47, has been sharing regular updates to social media after her husband Lee disappeared last week, leaving her with some desperate last messages from Dubai, leading Katie to believe he has been kidnapped.
Since then, a plethora of information has come to light, including him reportedly being wanted by Interpol and another ex, Alana Percival, sharing all the times he has allegedly lied to her.
Now, he’s been officially filed as a ‘missing person’, but Katie remains none the wiser to his whereabouts, despite claims by some internet sleuths that he has been spotted online and by The Sun that he is ‘squatting in a slightly run-down villa’.
Amid the ongoing marital drama, Katie returned for her weekly podcast with sister Sophie, which they record over the phone, and it took a shocking twist.
Although the Katie Price Show podcast episodes are normally between 40-45 minutes long, the latest one – titled, My Tentacles Are Up, I’m Not Stupid – was a snappy 33 minutes.

In the final few minutes, the sisters are answering various questions. When Sophie asks Katie: ‘Who would survive longer camping with festival toilets?’
We receive no response from Katie, and then the podcast cuts to Sophie saying: ‘Sorry for that intermission, Kate has had to shoot off because she is taking a call from the police, so that is it for today’s episode’.
Elsewhere in the podcast, the former glamour model offered an update on the Lee situation, saying her ‘brain has just been bonkers’.
She continued: ‘There’s nothing more for me to say aside from the police are now handling it. The British police, the British consulate, the Foreign Office, and Interpol.
‘They are all on the case now, looking for Lee, and a lot of people didn’t think this was serious; they still don’t think it is serious, so I have decided from today.
‘There is absolutely nothing more I can do, nothing more I can say and now the police are dealing with it, I’m just leaving it to the police.’
Reiterating her upset over the situation and her trust in the authorities, she said she had to just carry on with her life in the meantime.

Misleading claims of being a multi-millionaire business owner
When Katie named Lee as her new partner, he was selling himself as the CEO of Aura Group Future Urban Travel 2027 and an ‘investor in SpaceX Hybrid Fitness.’
His profile, which had 111k followers, was littered with photos of the entrepreneur in the gym and enjoying the high life in Dubai - also appearing to rub shoulders with Elon Musk and Kim Kardashian.
However, it was all later exposed as a farce - with no information about his company on its website, and his snaps with celebrities appearing to also be AI-generated.
Being banned from leaving Dubai
After meeting and marrying her new husband in Dubai, it came time for Katie to fly home to the UK – however her husband was unable to join her.
This was due to the fact that he’d allegedly served time in Dubai’s Al-Awir central prison for suspected fraud, for allegedly taking out a £200,000 mortgage in his ex-girlfriend's name without her knowledge.
The UAW bans people facing criminal investigations from leaving the country, however Lee denied he was unable to return to the UK and said there must be some ‘wrong details’.
However, Katie later confirmed he was subjected to a ban, but didn't clarify why.
Teasing a fake pregnancy
Just a few weeks into their relationship, both Katie and Lee teased they were expecting a baby. After Katie declared she was 'having his child' Lee wrote they were a ‘perfect couple soon to be triple’.
At one point, the mum of five even urged her followers to pay £2.99 to find out the results of a pregnancy test.
Despite the attempts to generate publicity, she then confirmed she was not pregnant.
Scamming a string of women
Days after Katie and Lee tied the knot, two of his exes accused him of being a 'liar, narcissist and manipulator'.
Two months later, it was then reported he'd been begging women for money weeks before he married Katie.
His ex Alana, then shared a post on Instagram calling him the ‘Tinder Swindler’ and claimed multiple women had contacted her saying he’d tried to scam them out of money too.
'Ghosting' his wife
After Lee failed to return to the UK last week, Katie revealed she had concerns he'd been kidnapped and then reported him as a missing person.
However, it was then reported that Lee had actually ‘ghosted’ his wife and was ‘squatting in a slightly run-down villa’ in Dubai and using a burner phone.
The publication reported he was ‘frantically planning a route out of this ginormous hole he appears to have buried himself in’.

‘For my own sanity, I’m taking a step back,… I don’t know what’s true, what’s not true,’ she added.
‘I’ve got so many exciting things coming up, and I’m not letting this ruin anything,’ she said, later thanking fans for their supportive messages.

She concluded: ‘I’ve been in situations with men so many times that I would never let a man break me down and make me ill, mentally. It will never happen again.’
Sophie declared that her ‘priority is always Kate and the family’, adding that she ‘has her own views and doesn’t need to air them’.
Sources close to the family shared with The Sun that Katie’s family are ‘absolutely thrilled’ that Lee has exited her life and ‘hope it stays that way’.
The insider continued: ‘They are especially relieved that he never made it to the UK to meet her children or embed himself into her home and life. They are counting their lucky stars and all their dreams have come true.’
