Community Invited To Play For A Purpose At Samuel Dixon Family Health Center’s Cornhole Tournament

Samuel Dixon Family Health Center (SDFHC) invites community members and families to come together this Saturday, May 16th for a day of friendly competition and meaningful impact at its 4th Annual Cornhole Tournament Fundraiser at Lucky Luke Brewing Company, located at 25108 Rye Cyn Loop, from 11a.m. to 3p.m.. Samuel Dixon Family Health Center is proud to recognize Los Angeles County 5th District Supervisor, Kathryn Barger, as the title sponsor of this year’s event. Her generous support and commitment to community health have helped make this fundraiser possible. SDFHC also extends sincere appreciation to the following event sponsors, whose partnership is essential to the success of the tournament: Total Care Pharmacy, L.A. Care Health Plan Valencia Park Executive Center, Garry Bess and Associates, United Medical Imaging and the AIDS Healthcare Foundation. The tournament welcomes players of all experience levels- from first-time participants to seasoned competitors- for an exciting event where every toss helps support a healthier community. Teams of two can register for $100 per team, and top finishers will have the opportunity to win cash prizes. More than just a fun event, the Cornhole Tournament is a fundraiser benefiting the Behavioral Health Department at Samuel Dixon Family Health Center. The funds raised are expected to help expand access to counseling, therapy, and other essential mental health services for children, adults, and families throughout the Santa Clarita Valley and surrounding communities. “Behavioral health services are a vital part of overall wellness. By participating in this event, community members are helping ensure that individuals and families can receive compassionate mental health care close to home,” said Philip Solomon, CEO at Samuel Dixon Family Health Center. In addition to the tournament, attendees can enjoy barbecue and other delicious menu items prepared by the Lions Clubs International, complimentary ice cream from Kaya’s Creamery, with optional donations welcomed to further support SDFHC’s mission, and a festive atmosphere designed for participants and spectators of all ages.
