Gardaí investigating discovery of body on Dublin's Thomas Street earlier today
Gardaí are investigating after a body was discovered on a street in Dublin city earlier today.
The body was discovered by a member of the public outside a church in The Liberties.
It’s understood the body was found inside the gates of John’s Lane Church on Thomas Street, in Dublin 8.

Gardaí say they were alerted to the discovery of a body at a premises on Thomas Street in Dublin 8 this morning, 15th May 2026.
A report on Dublin Live suggests the person who died may have been sleeping rough in the area.
Gardaí and emergency services were called to the scene, but no other details have been released as yet.
