Mercedes-Benz expands its light commerical vans with new Vito and Sprinter 2 models
Mercedes-Benz has expanded its light commercial vehicle offering for Irish business customers with the launch of the new Vito EDITION and the return of the Sprinter 2 Series to the market.
The latest additions are aimed at strengthening the brand’s position in Ireland’s competitive commercial vehicle sector by offering businesses greater choice and improved specifications across its van range.
Priced from €35,008 excluding VAT, the new Vito EDITION has been introduced as a more accessible entry point into the Mercedes-Benz commercial vehicle line-up.
The company said the model has been designed to meet the needs of everyday business users, combining practicality with premium comfort and enhanced standard equipment.
Features include smartphone integration, air conditioning, a comfort driver’s seat and factory-fitted ply lining.
Mercedes-Benz said the model builds on the success of previous fleet-focused offerings and is expected to appeal to small businesses and fleet operators seeking higher specification vehicles at a competitive price point.
Meanwhile, the Sprinter 2 Series has returned following what the company described as strong customer demand.
Starting from €39,366 excluding VAT, the Sprinter remains one of the best-known vehicles in the large van segment and is widely used across logistics, construction and service industries.
Mercedes-Benz said the updated Sprinter continues to focus on versatility, reliability and driver-focused technology while offering improved efficiency for commercial operators.
Commenting on the expanded range, Fergus Conheady, commercial vehicles sales manager for Mercedes-Benz, said the latest additions reflected changing customer expectations within the business vehicle market.
