The Latin American brasserie is heading eastAfter finding success on Tottenham Court Road, Nina and Alexis Melikov are opening a second London outpost of their Latin American restaurant Tigermilk, and it’s a whopper. The new 280-seater spot in Spitalfields is more like a hacienda than a restaurant. Inspired by the grand estates of Cuernavaca, Tigermilk Spitalfields will boast a number of interconnected spaces, including a courtyard, a dining room, an orangery and a six-metre-high bar stocked with over 2000 bottles.Like the OG, the menu at Tigermilk features cochinita pibil tacos, truffle quesadillas, ceviches, large sharing dishes like lamb al brasero and beef barbacoa, and indulgent desserts like maracuyá tiramisu and dulce de leche cheesecake.
