The Pachamama Group Is Going Middle Eastern for Its Next Spot
Soraya is coming over from Abu DhabiAfter sticking to the Med with its latest batch of openings, including Greek spots Zephyr, Bottarga and Lagana, and the Italian Nina, the Pachamama Group is heading a little further eastwards for its next restaurant. Soraya, born in Abu Dhabi, is coming over to London this summer and will be the group’s largest London restaurant to date, with 190 covers across a 6,000 sq ft site in Marylebone. There’ll be an open kitchen and L-shaped bar in the main space, alongside two private dining rooms, with all the interiors taking inspo from Persian domestic architecture – think layered rugs, detailed metalwork, aged timber, rotating artworks and collected objects.Soraya will open from morning through to night, beginning with sharing breakfast dishes such as kuku sabzi, a herb-packed Persian omelette; eggs Benedict with saffron hollandaise; and khachapuri pide alongside herbs, breads and yoghurts. The daytime and evening menu will then include dishes like:
paneer sabzi with herbs, walnuts, and fetakashk bedemjan lamb koobideh and chicken joujeh kebabsbutterflied sea bass with herbs and lemonghormeh sabzi with lamb and herbsshort rib khoresh with sour grape golden tahdig rotating series of cheesecakes, including a saffron house versionThe drinks offering follows a similar flow; coffee, teas and lighter drinks in the mornings, moving into citrus- and yoghurt-based softies, wines and cocktails.Given how much of a hit all of the Pachamama Group’s recent restaurants have been, we have no doubt that Soraya will also be a winner.Key InformationOpening date | summer 2026Address | 96 George Street, London, W1U 8AFFor more information | @sorayamarylebone
