Alan Shatter, Liam Cunningham, and the High Court action
Alan Shatter, the former justice minister, has issued High Court proceedings against the actor Liam Cunningham over posts made by Cunningham on social media in relation to Israel’s military offensive in the Middle East. Shatter, who has been forthright in his support of Israel, lodged High Court proceedings yesterday against Cunningham, best known for his roles in Steve McQueen’s Hunger, John Michael McDonagh’s The Guard ,and in the acclaimed television series Game of Thrones.
