Donald Trump’s blistering response to Prince Harry’s bombshell remarks about the war in Ukraine has been backed by royal fans. The US President said the Duke of Sussex “is not speaking for the UK” after Harry told the US to honour its obligations in the Ukrainian conflict.Responding to the speech Harry made during a surprise visit to Ukraine, Mr Trump told reporters: “I know one thing, Prince Harry is not speaking for the UK, that’s for sure. I think I am speaking for the UK more than Prince Harry.” He added: “But I appreciate his advice very much.”He went on to ask: “How’s he doing? How’s his wife? Please give her my regards.”While several people praised Harry for his speech, others said that he should steer clear from politics.One user wrote on X: “Strong response from President Trump. Harry might want to think twice about getting involved in US–Russia politics.”A second one said: “Harry is blurring the institutional boundaries and he risks dragging the monarchy - whether they like it or not into territory they are constitutionally bound to avoid.”Another person added: “He’s a joke without diplomatic standing and no power to effect change.
