Zayn Malik, the former One Direction heartthrob, has left fans devastated after revealing he's been hospitalised.The star took to social media to share a worrying health update, posting a photo of himself in a hospital bed connected to medical equipment.The image showed the singer with a blood pressure cuff on his arm and what appeared to be an ECG machine nearby, though he didn't disclose the specific nature of his medical emergency.In his post, he wrote: "To my fans - Thank you to all of you for your love and support now and always-been a long week and am still unexpectedly recovering. Zayn had been scheduled for an intimate gig and Q&A at Banquet Records in Kingston.However, he was compelled to pull out of the event just hours before it was due to take place. Banquet Records confirmed the cancellation on Sunday. The organisers confirmed the gig would be rearranged for a future date. A statement on their social media channels said: "Gutted to say Monday's ZAYN events are postponed due to illness."We send our best wishes for a speedy recovery. We'll be back to ticket holders later in the coming week. Thanks for your understanding and sorry again for the disappointment."Zayn also addressed fans directly, writing: "I'm sorry but unfortunately I am sick and I won't be able to make it to the UK this week as planned.
