Want to Cosplay at Mumbai Comic Con? Learn From the Pros Before the Event at This Cosplay 101 Workshop
A Cosplay 101 Workshop is set to take place in Mumbai on April 19, 2026, offering a hands-on session for anyone looking to get started with cosplay, from costume creation to performance basics.
Held by Cosplay Genie, the workshop will be led by Akshay Churi, known in the cosplay community as The Red Comet, who will guide participants through the fundamentals of cosplay, including building costumes, portraying characters, and understanding how the community works.
Joining him as mentors are cosplayers Tejal and Jeet, who will also share their experiences and practical tips for beginners and enthusiasts.
The session will include live demonstrations, interactive discussions, and opportunities for attendees to directly engage with experienced cosplayers.
