Ryan Tubridy changes lifestyle and considers new family addition
Ryan Tubridy is a newly married man, but that doesn't mean the broadcaster is partying hard during his honeymoon phase.
The former Late Late Show host, who married his wife Clare Kamabamettu in December 2025, has revealed the lifestyle changes he has made to ensure he stays healthy in his early fifties.
Ryan revealed that he has been 'keeping an eye' on himself now in a way that 'previous generations of Tubridys probably didn’t' as he regularly takes himself out on runs.

The Dubliner told The Irish Examiner that he was never interested in running before he was contacted by Operation Transformation a few years ago. He was asked to take part in a Couch to 5k and never looked back.
Ryan admitted he didn't even own a pair of runners at the time, but has since fallen in love with the sport. 'I bought the gear and went for a run, and haven’t stopped running since,' he told the outlet.

'I’ve definitely changed my lifestyle to suit my age and the amount of travel I do, so I don’t drink as much as I used to or eat as much rubbish as I used to, and I run between 5km and 7km a day,' he said, admitting that he is either like 'quicksand or gazelle.'
Ryan's newfound active lifestyle will only be aided by a potential new addition to the family, as he and Clare have spoken about getting a dog.

'Myself and my wife Clare will discuss the possibility of getting the dog that she has already named. Quietly, I’d love a Red Setter, but the house is too small, and I travel a lot… maybe someday!' he explained.
The new addition would certainly keep Ryan active!
