Central Visayas records 16.5% decline in births 

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Fewer babies were born in Central Visayas during the first 10 months of 2025, as the latest government data showed a decline in births. From January to October in 2025, Central Visayas recorded a 16.5 percent decrease in live births, based on preliminary data from the Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA).
