UK: Volkswagen gives ID.4 and ID.5 larger batteries and V2L

Selected variants of both models are now equipped with batteries offering higher net capacity, improved performance and extended range. For example, the ID.4 Pro 4MOTION variants now deliver up to 220 kW and a WLTP range of up to 341 miles.For the ID.4 and ID.5 Pure variants, battery capacity has been increased from 52 kWh to 58 kWh. Traffic Assist has been extended to include Front Cross functionality, while driver attention monitoring and the One Infotainment system have been improved, VW states. Additional efficiency measures include an updated optional heat pump.For ID.4 Pro 4MOTION variants, the maximum braked towing capacity has been raised from 1,200 kg to 1,800 kg.Equipment levels have also been adjusted.
