Coole Swan CEO Mary Sadlier to appear on Business Plus Talks

Mary Sadlier, CEO of premium Irish cream liqueur brand Coole Swan, is set to guest on the fifth episode of the second series of Business Plus Talks, in association with Philip Lee LLP. Meath-based Sadlier has led Coole Swan since 2011, and the company now sells over 250,000 bottles worldwide every year. The beverage is made with a unique blend of single malt Irish whiskey, Belgian white chocolate and fresh dairy cream. Sadlier and husband Philip Brady, who serves as head of operations, took 231 attempts to perfect the recipe, and every batch is produced in Co Cavan. In 2020, Coole Swan became the first Irish brand to achieve the highest score on American publication Wine Enthusiast's Spirit Rating, and the brand counts Tom Hanks among its fans. For more than a decade, Coole Swan has been listed with Musgrave, Anzac, and John Lewis in the UK, and the company counts the US, UK, Germany and Canada as its key export markets. Prior to co-founding Coole Swan, Sadlier was head of transfer pricing and later associate director of corporate finance in LATAM and EMEA for Diageo, where she was responsible for identifying suitable acquisitions. A UCD Economics graduate, Sadlier trained as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen in Dublin. Mary Sadlier, CEO of Coole Swan.
