Family of missing man who vanished from north Co. Louth 'beside themselves with worry'

The family of a missing man who have been limping when he disappeared are "beside themselves" with worry.Shane McEvoy, 38, from Newry in Co. Down was last seen in the vicinity of a Circle K near Junction 20 in Drumad, Co. Louth on Friday March 13 between 9pm and 9.30pm.Police investigating Mr. McEvoy's disappearance believe when he was last seen he may have been walking with a limp and may have been injured."It cannot be ruled out if Shane has remained in the ROI or returned to Northern Ireland but given the close proximity of this location Police are seeking any information of his whereabouts," said a spokesperson for the PSNI.The spokesperson added: "Police in Newry are concerned for the welfare of Shane McEvoy who is 38 years old from Newry. Family and friends have not heard from Shane since Friday.
